tempeh steak
Ingredients :
300gr Tempe
2 tablespoons fits gluten free
tempeh flour
1 egg
1/2 onion, chopped
2 garlic, chopped
For BBQ sauce:
7 tbsp BBQ Sauce
1/2 onion, chopped
Enough water
Sugar
Salt

How to make :
– Cut the tempeh and then steam it for 10 minutes. Puree the tempeh with onions and garlic until smooth
– Add eggs, fits gluten free tempeh flour, stir until smooth, check for taste. Add salt if necessary. Shape the tempeh dough like steak, let it rest in the fridge for a while
– Prepare 2 containers for coating wet flour (cold water + 3 tablespoons seasoning flour) and dry flour. Dip the tempeh steak into the dry flour, then into the wet flour and into the dry flour again. Fry until brown
– Sauce: Saute onions until fragrant, add BBQ sauce then add a little water, season with salt and sugar. Cook until slightly thickened.
– Serve tempeh steak on top of a plate alongside the sauce
– Add Complementary (Ex: Boiled potato, beans and carrot) for a better taste
